Why Acai
(pronounced ah-sigh-ee)
Acai comes from the Amazon jungle and its flavor profile is often described as a mash-up of wild berries and chocolate. This small berry is considered a super fruit as it packs a mighty punch of antioxidants (more than strawberries, blueberries, and grapes), which has been shown to be beneficial with everything from diabetes, to heart disease and obesity. Palm Berries bowls are made with a heaping serving of acai.
Pitaya
(aka Dragon Fruit)
Pitaya has Latino roots as it originated in Central America. Today you can find this exotic fruit in most upermarkets and, of course, in Palm Berries bowls and blends. The vibrant scarlet color isn’t the only exciting feature of this fruit. Its sweet watermelon-like taste adds a dose of Vitamin C and fiber to any product. Pitaya has lots of anti-oxidants and low cholesterol, which helps keep your heart as good as new!

Acerola is often referred to as a cherry of the tropic. This bright red fruit is native to Central America, northern South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
